In the IAD progression program, you will receive a full "learn to skydive" class (First Jump Course).  As you exit the aircraft, instructor deploys the parachute and you will have a 4-5 minute canopy ride.  You will be in charge of steering and landing your parachute safely.  After completion of your IAD jumps, your next jumps advance you through progressively longer freefall times and higher altitudes.  The course includes one jump, a full course of instruction, a log book and a jump certificate suitable for framing.  Continuation jumps are $60.00 each.  All equipment and coaching is included.

REQUIREMENTS

Tandem Skydive - For safety reasons, we require a tandem skydive prior to your entry into the IAD progression course. This requirement gives you the opportunity to experience a skydive complete with freefall prior to entering into a commitment to become licensed.  With this experience you should be less nervous on your first jump and be able to complete a more stable exit and safer canopy deployment. Note: the AFF course does not require a tandem jump prior to your first jump.

Age - You must be at least 18 years old to skydive with us.

Weight Limit - Our normal limit is 225 lbs, but students are always evaluated on a case by case basis.  Call us if you're not sure.

Clothing - Come to the dropzone in something comfortable but make sure that you wear tennis shoes.  Sandals or boots with metal hooks are dangerous because of the possibility of hooking a suspension line on them.

Transfers to AFF – Students who begin training as an IAD student may transfer to the AFF course at any time.  Instructors will determine your starting point based on the requirements you have already completed in the IAD course
